Matthew Driscoll

CEO

Matthew Driscoll is the Founder and CEO of Driscoll’s Language Guild (DLG), where he leads the organization’s educational direction, teaching standards, and overall learning philosophy.

Matthew’s approach comes from years of working directly with students as an English professor, linguist, and educator. He has taught in academic settings, supported ESL programs, and worked closely with learners navigating career changes, academic demands, and everyday communication challenges. Through this work, he saw a pattern: many adults were working hard but not making meaningful progress because their learning lacked structure and clear direction.

DLG was built to solve that problem. Matthew designed the learning system around how English is actually used—in workplaces, classrooms, interviews, and daily conversations. Lessons are structured and practical, with clear goals and consistent guidance. The aim is not to overwhelm learners with theory, but to give them tools they can use immediately and build on over time.

In addition to teaching, Matthew brings leadership experience from roles in education, public service, and content development. He has led teams, managed programs, and supported complex operations that require both attention to detail and long-term planning. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Business with a focus on Organizational Leadership, strengthening his work in building systems that grow without losing quality.

As CEO, Matthew remains closely involved in curriculum oversight and instructor development, ensuring that DLG stays focused on serious learners who want real progress. His goal is simple: to provide adult learners with English education that is structured, respectful, and genuinely useful in a fun and friendly community.
