Our Story
We officially launched in early 2026, but the Guild has been years in the making. The founder, Matt, started teaching English as a second language in his local community of Central California way back in 2015 and never stopped. This year, he began gathering an elite group of professionals to expand the practice of fun and effective language instruction. Our method is the product of over ten years of teaching experience coupled with proven principles from the fields of psychology and linguistics.

When you join the Guild, we will build a full long-term learning plan for you based on your personal and professional goals. The learning plan is used by your instructor to develop your personalized lesson plans and curriculum just for you. Whether you want to get ahead at work or school, we've got you.
Specially Trained Instructors
Leaders in Language Education
Professor Driscoll personally screens only the strongest instructor candidates. Selectees must then pass a rigorous ten-hour training course in linguistics and teaching before they are able to graduate and enter the field.

How It Works
Getting started with Driscoll Language Guild is simple and supportive from the beginning. After onboarding, you can use your lesson hours in a way that fits your goals, whether that means one-on-one instruction or learning alongside others in a group setting. Sessions are available in 30- or 60-minute formats, and your hours can also be used to join Guild Social Events that encourage real communication practice in a relaxed environment. Your learning plan is personalized, and your progress is tracked clearly as your skills develop over time.
